Laurence Lillvik was born in Hawaii and raised in NJ. He settled in Oregon in the mid 90’s and has been in the employ of a public library for nearly two decades. He is the author of the poetry collection Tongues Tied To Anchors. His poems have recently appeared on a Hello America Stereo Cassette spoken word compilation. His work has also appeared in The Emerson Review, vapor/strains, dogmatika, and lies/isle. He co-founded and recorded with The Lawn and The People’s Tongue. He often wonders if Harry Smith ever met Marcel Duchamp.
