violating curfew
a haiku
sneaking out for a
smoke will some pig shoot never
any dull moments
Valid Concern
wonder if
they’ll take a hundred
my dad asked
at the drive-thru
I said
don’t feel like
getting kneeled on
today
paid with
my debit
this lack of hairdressers
a haiku
made lions of us
with these manes and soon you shall
hear every one roar
Hitching
trying to get back
to my car
parked five miles
from where crowds
were gathering
so I could make it home
before curfew
stuck my thumb out
but the flow of cars
from that direction
all continued on
making a point
not to look at me
...those who aren’t
out here today
aren’t interested in helping
anyone but themselves
we need you out here
a haiku
while we were praying
I pointed my sign up at
God oi where you at
